Carolina Style Pulled Pork Sandwich Recipe

Carolina Style Pulled Pork Sandwich Ingredients:

  • 2 onions
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 -6 lbs boneless pork butt
  • 3/4 cup apple cider
  • 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 cup American style prepared yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons chili
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke

How to make Carolina Style Pulled Pork Sandwich:

Blend paprika, brown sugar, salt and pepper.
The roast over the onions in the crock pot.
Blend the apple cider, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire Sauce, sugar, garlic, mustard,salt and cayenne; shake to blend well.
1/2 of the apple cider blending over the roast and cover. Cooling the remaining apple  ider blending.
Bake on medium for 15-20 hours. Drizzle the other half of the apple cider blending over the roast during the last 1/2 hour of baking.

Meat is baking, prepare the barbecue sauce. Blend all ingredients except butter, soy sauce and smoke. Simmer, uncovered, on medium heat for 45 minutes. Shake in the remaining ingredients and uncovered, simmer, for 12 minutes more.

Remove the beef from the crock pot and allow resting for min 12 minutes.
The onions and blending to a fine.
The meat with a double of forks. Meat should have a shredded look to it.

Blend onions and shredded pork along with a small bit of juice from the crock pot to
tasty. Sufficient sauce to the blending to achieve tasty. Beef should have distinctive
flavor.
Layer of cola slaw on upper of meat. Layer evenly more sauce over cola slaw.
Spread upper of buns with sauce.
