Whole Wheat Pumpkin Waffles
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup white flour
- 1 t. baking powder
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (optional)
- 1 t. cinnamon powder (optional)
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/6 cup oil
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs
Mix first seven ingredients together.
2. Add last four ingredients. Follow directions on waffle maker.
Serve these with a rich maple syrup or applesauce and a dollup of freshly
whipped sweet cream.
