  • 3 white beets
  • salt
  • water
  • olive oil if possible extra virgin olive oil
  • garlic if possible minced garlic
  • Some lemon juice


  1. Boil the white beets in a pot for 10min under high pressure and when they are cooked, put the beet greens as well and let it sit for about 5 mins. Sometimes 5 mins not enough to delicious saute.

  2. Put them out and turn on the saute mode, add oil and beets in it and after 3mins, add garlic and beet greens, stir them all well and serve it in a dish by  squirting the lemon juice over it.
