???? 2. Legs, Body, and Joining The doll is worked in one piece, crocheting from the legs upward to the body. We start with the shoe shape using black yarn. Rounds 24-34 (11 Rounds): Sc in each st around with skin color (18). Fasten off the first leg. Do not cut the yarn on the second leg. Joining the Legs and Body After finishing the second leg, ch 3 and connect to the inner center of the first leg with a single crochet. Round 35: 18 sc around the first leg, 3 sc along one side of the chain, 18 sc around the second leg, 3 sc along the other side of the chain (Total: 42 sc) Rounds 36-42 (7 Rounds): Sc in each st around with skin color (42) Change to Black Yarn (Bustier/Top Start): Rounds 43-44: Sc in each st around with black yarn (42) Round 45 (Waist Shaping): (5 sc, 1 dec) * 6 (36) Rounds 46-52 (7 Rounds): Sc in each st around with black yarn (36) Change to Skin Color (Upper chest and neck): Round 53: BLO (4 sc, 1 dec) * 6 (30) Round 54: (3 sc, 1 dec) * 6 (24) Round 55: (2 sc, 1 dec) * 6 (18) Round 56: (4 sc, 1 dec) * 3 (15) Rounds 57-60 (4 Rounds for Neck): 15 sc around, then fasten off. Insert your wire or plastic support into the neck/body and stuff tightly with fiberfill.
???? 3. Arms (Make 2) Using Skin Color: Round 1: 6 sc in Mr (6) Round 2: (1 sc, 1 inc) * 3 (9) Rounds 3-5: Sc in each st around for 3 rounds (9) Round 6 (Thumb): 1 popcorn stitch (work 3 half-double crochets in the same stitch and pull through together), 8 sc (9) Rounds 7-27 (21 Rounds): Sc in each st around (9). To add the black strap detail at the top of the arm, you can change to black yarn for the final 2 rounds. Stuff lightly and sew onto the body. ???? 4. Clothing Details (Skirt and Lacing) Ruffled Pink Skirt You will crochet the skirt directly onto the body by joining your pink yarn to the FLO (front loops) at the hip line where the black section ends. Layer 1 (Top Ruffle): Join pink yarn to the FLO stitches around the waist/hips. Work 3 double crochets (dc) into every single stitch around. This high increase rate creates the ruffled look. Layer 2 (Bottom Ruffle): Join pink yarn to the remaining inner loops (BLO) right under where the first layer started. Crochet 1 sc in each stitch around for 2 rows to extend the length downwards. On the final row, work 3 dc into every single stitch to create the bottom ruffle layer. Bustier Corset Lacing Use a sewing needle and pink yarn/floss to embroider the criss-cross "X" lacing and small decorative bows directly onto the front of the black bustier. ????♀️ 5. Hair (Brown Yarn) The hair consists of a wig cap base with separate strand bundles (pig-tails/ponytails) sewn on. Hair Cap (Wig Base) Rounds 1–9: Follow the exact same pattern as the first 9 rounds of the head using brown yarn (54 sc). Rounds 10-18: 54 sc around. Place it on the head to check the fit; it should reach down to the ear level. Sew it securely onto the head. Bangs and Side Strands Chain several stitches at the front of the wig cap, crochet back down the chain with single crochets (making strands about 10-12 stitches long) to form the bangs/fringe, and secure them flat on the forehead. Pigtails (Make 2) Wrap brown yarn multiple times around a book or a piece of cardboard. Tie it tightly at the top end and cut through the bottom end. Sew these two thick yarn bundles onto the top left and top right sides of the hair cap. Crochet small pink bows and sew them at the base of the pigtails.
???? 6. Leg Warmers (Pink Yarn) To achieve the wonderful slouchy, layered sock look shown in "1000105788.jpg", we will use the half-double crochet ribbed texture. Separately from the leg, ch 22 and join with a sl st to form a ring. Rounds 1-8: Work half-double crochets (hdc) in BLO for every stitch around. This gives the fabric elasticity and a ribbed, accordion-like texture. Once completed, slide them onto the legs from the bottom up, letting them rest loosely right above the shoes. ???? 7. Mini Bunny (White Yarn) Here is the pattern for the small, cute bunny the doll is holding: Head & Body (Worked in One Piece) Round 1: 6 sc in Mr (6) Round 2: 6 inc (12) Round 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (18) Rounds 4-7: 18 sc around (18) -> Insert tiny safety eyes around round 5. Round 8: (1 sc, 1 dec) * 6 (12) -> Head is done, continuing to the body. Round 9: (1 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (18) Rounds 10-12: 18 sc around (18) Round 13: (1 sc, 1 dec) * 6 (12) -> Stuff with fiberfill. Round 14: 6 dec (6) Close and weave in ends. Ears (Make 2) 5 sc in Mr. Crochet 5 sc around for 3 more rounds, then leave a long tail for sewing. Tint the inner ear slightly with pink blush. Arms and Legs (Make 4) 5 sc in Mr, crochet 5 sc around for 2 rounds, then sew them onto the body.
???? Assembly and Finishing Touches Head and Body: Fit the head onto the tightly stuffed neck support and secure it to the body using an invisible mattress stitch. Face Shading: Apply a bit of pink cosmetic blush or soft pastel under the safety eyes and on the cheeks to give it that cute anime/pastel aesthetic. Accessories: Wrap thin black ribbons or cords above the knees and around the legs to create the garter/strap details. Attach small metal craft chains to the front of the skirt to complete the gothic look. Your beautiful custom doll is now complete! Happy crocheting!
