Snow White Amigurumi Pattern 1. Materials Needed Yarn: Skin color, yellow, dark blue, white, black, and red (Cotton yarn preferred). Crochet Hook: 2.0 mm or 2.20 mm (depending on your yarn weight). Eyes: 8-10 mm safety eyes (or black/brown embroidery thread for stitched eyes). Fiberfill: Polyester fiberfill (stuffing). Skeleton: Electrical wire or copper wire (taped) to make the doll poseable and stable. Facial Details: Fine embroidery thread for eyelashes and mouth; blush for the cheeks. 2. Head (Skin Color) Abbreviations: Single Crochet (sc), Increase (inc), Decrease (dec) Round 1: 6 sc in Magic Ring (MR). Round 2: 6 inc (12 sc). Round 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (18 sc). Round 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (24 sc). Round 5: (3 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (30 sc). Round 6: (4 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (36 sc). Rounds 7-15: 36 sc around. (Place safety eyes between rounds 12 and 13, with 7-8 stitches apart). Round 16: (4 sc, 1 dec) * 6 (30 sc). Round 17: (3 sc, 1 dec) * 6 (24 sc). Round 18: (2 sc, 1 dec) * 6 (18 sc). (Start stuffing with fiberfill). Round 19: (1 sc, 1 dec) * 6 (12 sc). Round 20: (1 sc, 1 dec) * 4 (8 sc). Continue with 8 sc for a few rounds to create the neck.
3. Body and Legs Start with the legs and join them to continue to the body. Legs (Make 2): Start with skin color: 6 sc in MR. Increase to 9 sc. Crochet 9 sc for about 25-30 rounds (adjust for desired height). Join the two legs with 3 chain stitches and proceed to the body. Body (Blue and Yellow): Skirt Base (Yellow): Work around the joined legs starting with 24-30 sc. Increase gradually up to the waist (approx. 36 sc). Upper Body (Blue): Switch to blue yarn at the waist. Decrease slightly at the waist for a corset look, then increase slightly towards the chest. Note: Remember to insert the wire skeleton while crocheting the body. 4. Arms (Make 2) The arms are very thin, so using wire is essential. Hand: 5 sc in MR. Arm: 5 sc for 20-22 rounds. Puff Sleeve (Blue/Red): When you reach the shoulder, switch to blue and increase (15-18 sc) to create a puffed look. Embroider vertical red lines on top of the puff.
5. Hair and Accessories Hair: Use black yarn. Follow the head pattern (up to 36 sc). Crochet an extra piece for the bun at the back and sew it on. Red Ribbon: Chain 10, work 2 rows of sc to make a small bow. Sew it onto the hair. Collar (White): Attach white yarn to the neckline. Work in half-moon shape using Double Crochets (dc) to create a standing collar. You can use a tiny bit of glue or fabric stiffener to keep it upright. 6. Large Yellow Skirt (Detailing) Attach yellow yarn to the Front Loops Only (FLO) at the waistline. Increase in every round to create a wide, flared skirt. Bottom Ruffle: At the edge of the skirt, switch to white yarn and work 3 Double Crochets (dc) in each stitch for a wavy effect. Assembly Complete the legs and body. Insert the wire and stuff firmly with fiberfill. Secure the head onto the neck wire and sew it in place. Attach the arms at shoulder level. Embroider the eyelashes and apply blush to the cheeks. Pro Tip: For the delicate finger look and curved poses seen in the photos, ensure the wire is placed exactly in the center of the stuffing while you crochet.
