Round 7: (1 sc, 1 dec) x 6 \rightarrow 12 sc Flatten the tip of the wing and close it by crocheting across both sides together with single crochets. Leave a long tail for sewing.
5. Feet and Legs (Make 2 - Orange Yarn) Foot Base / Toes: Form webbed feet using chains or special shaping. Typically, chain 5-6 stitches and work single crochets and double crochets around them to create the webbed foot shape. Leg Section: Pick up stitches from the foot base and work upwards in a small tube shape (6-8 sc) for 5-6 rounds, then attach to the bottom of the body. (You can insert a thin wire or wooden skewer inside the legs for extra stability if desired). Assembly Phase Head and Body: Place the neck section symmetrically onto the top of the body, pin it in place, and sew securely. Beak: Position it centrally right below the eye level and sew firmly. Wings: Sew them symmetrically on both sides of the body, angled slightly backward. Feet: Attach them to the bottom of the body, calculating the center of gravity so the duck can stand balanced.
