Tools and materials for crocheting a cow. To knit the red cow, I used the red Semenovskaya yarn OLGA WOOL consisting of 95% wool and 5% acrylic. The brown parts were knitted from the remains of the yarn, the name of which, unfortunately, I do not remember. The white cow was knitted from the remains of an unnamed yarn (the label was not preserved), the thickness of which is very close to OLGA WOOL. Hook No. 1.5. Filler for soft toys. Eyes for toys d=5 mm. Wool for felting (we will felt the spots on the cow’s body and eyebrows). Felting needle. Crochet paws for a cow. We start knitting the cow from the paws. They are identical, you need to knit 4 pieces. We start knitting with brown yarn. Row 1: 6 sc (single crochet) into the amigurumi ring. An alternative method for starting to knit the toy is to cast on 2 chain stitches and crochet 6 sc into the second loop from the hook. 2nd row: (1 increase) – repeat 6 times (12). Row 3: knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (12). We secure the thread of the main color (red or white) and continue knitting with this yarn. Row 4: knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (12). Row 5: (3 sc, 1 increase) – repeat 3 times (15). Row 6: knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row (15). We knit: 2 sc, then with 6 single crochet stitches we attach the paw to the tummy (we knit together 6 loops of the paw and 6 loops of the tummy), 2 sc (they are located above the increase in the previous row), 6 sc (knitting together the loops of the paw and tummy, i.e. we attach the second paw of the dinosaur), 4 sc along the long side of the oval, then we attach the third paw, knitting together with single crochet stitches 6 loops of the paw and tummy, 2 sc, we attach the fourth paw, knitting together with single crochet stitches 6 loops of the paw and tummy, 2 sc. More details about this are described in the video master class. After tightening, we shape the muzzle, sew on the ears and horns. Then we sew the head to the cow's body. We shape the spots on the body using the dry felting technique. You can also make a tassel on the tail using wool.
