Inner Ear (Light Pink): Repeat Rows 1-6 exactly as above. Do not cut the yarn. Assembly: Take the outer ear piece and place it directly behind the inner ear piece. With the pink side facing you, single crochet around the edges, inserting your hook through both pieces to join them together. Make an increase (inc) at the top corner to keep the ear pointy. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing to the head. 6. Tail (Main Color) Start with Main Color yarn. Round 1: 6 sc into MR [6] Round 2: (2 sc, 1 inc) x 2 [8] Round 3-18: (16 rounds) sc in each st around [8] Do not stuff the tail (or stuff very lightly). Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
7. Facial Details & Bow Muzzle (White/Cream): Round 1: 6 sc into MR [6] Round 2: inc x 6 [12] Round 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6 [18] Round 4: sc in each st around [18] Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Sew it to the head right underneath the eyes. Use black embroidery floss to stitch the nose and whiskers onto the face. Neck Bow (Color of your choice): To make a simple bow: Chain 10-12, join to form a ring with a sl st. Wrap the same color yarn tightly around the center of the ring multiple times to create a bow shape. Secure and sew onto the cat's neck. Assembly Instructions Step-by-Step Assembly: Sewing the Head to the Body: Align the openings of the head and body. Use the long yarn tail from the head to sew the two parts together stitch-by-stitch. Ensure the connection is tight and stable. Sewing the Ears to the Head: Position the ears on top of the head slightly behind the eyes. Sew along the bottom edge of the ears securely into the head. Sewing the Legs to the Body: Pin the legs to the bottom of the body, making sure they are positioned flat enough so that the cat balances nicely to stand on its own, just like in 1000108487.jpg. Sew firmly. Sewing the Arms to the Body: Attach the arms to the sides of the body, right under the neck seam. Angle them slightly forward and downward. You can sew only the top row of the arms if you want them to remain slightly moveable. Sewing the Tail to the Body: Sew the tail to the lower back of the body, positioned low enough to look natural but high enough to stay clear of the ground. Attaching the Bow: Secure the bow right under the chin around the neck area. Hide all remaining yarn tails inside the body using your tapestry needle. Your amigurumi cat is complete!
