Fasten off. (Insert your wire support or fill the neck very tightly with fiberfill so it stays upright). ???? Dress Pattern (Pink and Cream Yarn) The dress is crocheted separately so it can be taken on and off. Row 1: Ch 25, do not join into a ring (the back will stay open for buttons). Starting from the 2nd ch from hook: 24 sc, ch 1, turn. Row 2: (2 sc, 1 inc) across the row = (32), ch 1, turn. Row 3 (Sleeve Separation): 5 sc, ch 6, skip 6 stitches (sleeve hole), 10 sc (front bodice), ch 6, skip 6 stitches, 5 sc. Rows 4-8: Sc across all stitches (including the chains) for 5 rows to complete the bodice. Skirt Part (For a fluffy, gathered look): After finishing the bodice, crochet 3 dc in every single stitch across the row to widen the skirt. Continue crocheting 1 dc in each stitch for consecutive rows until the dress reaches the desired length. Skirt Edge (Cream Yarn): Switch to cream yarn for the last row. Work (1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc) into each stitch to create the beautiful lace/ruffle hem seen in "1000105859.jpg".
????♀️ Creating the Curly Hair To achieve the thick, voluminous curls seen in the photo, patience is key! Hair Base (Wig Cap): Using brown yarn, repeat the first 10 rounds of the head pattern until you have 60 stitches. Test it to make sure it fits nicely onto the head. Hair Strands (Curls): Starting from the outer edge of the wig cap: For each curly strand, chain 60–70. Working back down the chain, make 2 or 3 sc (or half double crochets) into every single chain link. This causes the strand to naturally twist into a beautiful curl. Fill up the outer edges and the crown of the wig cap with these strands. Around 25–30 thick curls should give you the perfect volume. ???? Decorations and Details Mini Roses (For the Dress, Shoes, and Headband): Chain 15. Starting from the 2nd ch from hook, work 3 dc into every chain. Once finished, roll the strip onto itself to form a rosebud and sew the base to secure it. Place small pearls/beads in the center. Face Details: To give the eyes extra depth, insert skin-colored yarn from the bottom-inner corner of the eye, pull it out through the back of the head, and pull slightly to create an eye socket indentation. Use black embroidery thread to stitch delicate eyelashes on the upper outer corner of the eyes. Apply real makeup blush or pink pastel dust to the cheeks using a soft brush to replicate the rosy cheeks in "1000105859.jpg". ???? Assembly Place the wig cap on the head, adjust it nicely, and secure it with pins. Sew it invisibly onto the head using matching brown yarn. You can sweep two front curls to the side just like the picture. Sew the head to the body, ensuring the wire/neck support slips deep into the head cavity. Stitch through the corresponding stitches tightly so the head doesn't wobble. Sew the arms symmetrically to the sides of the body right under the neckline. Put the dress on the doll and secure the back closure. Sew the mini roses and tiny green leaves onto the waistline of the dress, the shoes, and the headband to wrap up your gorgeous creation!
