Piece-by-Piece Construction and Stitch Count Guide 1. Legs and Body (Joined as One Piece) Left and Right Legs: Start with skin tone yarn. Make a magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc). Increase evenly in subsequent rounds (e.g., increasing by 6 stitches per round up to 30–36 stitches) to shape the legs. Work about 15–20 rounds even. After finishing both legs, join them with a chain of 3 stitches and continue to the Body. Body: After joining the legs, crochet around all stitches to form the torso. Decrease stitches around the waist area to create a slim waistline, then increase again towards the shoulders to form the chest cage. The total body circumference should average around 36–42 stitches. For the neck, decrease stitches down to 12–14 single crochet and work a few rounds even.

2. Head Continue directly from the neck with skin tone yarn, or crochet separately and sew onto the neck: Magic Ring: 6 sc Round 1: Inc in every st (12 sc) Round 2: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat (18 sc) Round 3: (2 sc, 1 inc) repeat (24 sc) Continuing: Increase by 6 stitches each round until you reach 60 or 66 single crochet (adjust based on your desired head size; safety eyes are usually inserted between rounds 8 and 9, leaving about 7–8 stitches between them). Even Rounds: Work 10–12 rounds even without increases or decreases. Closing: Decrease gradually to close the head while stuffing firmly with fiberfill. Embroider eyelashes, eyebrows, and lips. 3. Arms (Make 2) Start with skin tone yarn in a magic ring with 6 sc. Increase over 3–4 rounds to reach 12–14 stitches. Work even with 12–14 stitches for about 14–16 rounds. Stuff very lightly or leave unstuffed, flatten the opening, and close with single crochet across both sides. Set aside to sew onto the body. 4. Blue Evening Gown and Ruffles The dress can be crocheted directly onto the body or crocheted separately and slipped on. The skirt features a multi-tiered (ruffled) design: Dress Upper Bodice (Corset): Using dark blue yarn, pick up stitches from the waistline or chain around the upper torso, working in single crochet and double crochet. For the single-shoulder detail, crochet a diagonal strap across the left or right shoulder and secure it to the body. Skirt Tiers (Ruffles): Work 3 or 4 layered ruffles for the lower skirt. The first tier (uppermost ruffle) starts just below the waist directly on the body using "BLO" (Back Loop Only) or by creating a raised ridge row. To make the ruffles voluminous, work double crochets (dc) or half double crochets (hdc), increasing by working 2–3 stitches into every single stitch to create a wavy, flared form. The second, third, and fourth tiers are crocheted row by row directly onto the main skirt base, overlapping downward.

5. Hair and Bun Wig Cap: Using brown yarn, start with a magic ring and increase to form a cap that fits snugly over the head, then sew it onto the head. Bun and Curls: For the neat top bun, crochet a small separate spherical piece, stuff it with fiberfill, and sew it onto the top of the head. For the cascading side curls, chain the desired length and work 2–3 double crochets into each chain stitch to create a spiral ringlet form. Secure these curls along the sides of the head and shoulders. 6. Rose Accessory and Embellishments Roses on Dress and Hair: Using dark blue yarn, chain 30–40. Turn and work double crochets into the chains, then roll the strip into a spiral rose shape and secure with stitches. Jewelry: Attach small pearl bead earrings to the ears; add silver leaf/flower details to the hair accessory. ???? Assembly Details Attaching the Arms: Pin the completed arms symmetrically to the shoulders of the body and sew them securely using a tapestry needle and skin tone yarn. Fitting/Securing the Dress: If crocheted separately, secure the dress at the back with stitches or a small snap fastener. Assemble the multi-tiered ruffles to form the skirt volume. Attaching the Hair: Secure the brown wig cap all around the head with hidden stitches. Fasten the side spiral curls so they frame the face naturally. Facial Details: Once the eyes are secured, embroider upward-curving eyelashes with fine black thread, curved eyebrows with brown thread, and add a gentle blush using pink pastel or blush powder on the cheeks.
