Place both pieces back-to-back and crochet around the edges with grey yarn to join them. Pinch the base slightly before sewing to the head.
4. Mane and Tail (Brown Yarn) For the Mane: Apply fringe technique using a crochet hook along the line running from the top of the head down to the neck. Cut brown yarn strands to equal lengths, latch-hook them into the head, and trim/brush them to the desired style. For the Tail: Combine long strands of brown yarn, secure them into a tassel shape, and firmly attach to the lower back of the body. 5. Bridle / Headstall (Maroon/Red Detail) Make chains or a short sc strap using maroon yarn to wrap around the muzzle and pass under the eyes. Secure the strap around the head. Sew small yellow beads onto it or embroider French knots with yellow yarn to recreate the golden hardware details seen in the image. Embroider the nostrils and a cute smiling mouth using black yarn. ???? Assembly Steps Body and Head: Securely sew the neck opening of the head to the body using the leftover long yarn tail. You can insert a thick wooden dowel or floral wire inside the neck to support the head's weight. Ears: Sew the ears symmetrically onto the top of the head, angled slightly outwards. Mane and Tail: Position the mane to flow smoothly from the crown down the back of the neck; secure the tail at the rear. Add small white embroidery highlights next to the eyes to bring out a lively expression.
