1. Material List Yarns (Amigurumi / Cotton Yarns): Skin tone: For the doll's face, arms, and legs. Brown: For the curly hair. Blue and White tones: For the nurse/doctor uniform, scrub cap, tray/pencil holder, as well as the giant tooth chair and mini tooth figures. Pink/Red: For the toothbrushes, lips, and cheek details. Grey/Silver: For the stethoscope and dental mirror details. Crochet Hook: 2.0 mm or 2.2 mm. Stuffing: Fiberfill (polyester stuffing). Eyes: Safety eyes (or embroidered with black thread). Other Supplies: Yarn needle, stitch marker, scissors, and a small amount of armature wire if needed to help parts stand firmly. 2. Dentist Doll Instructions Head (Skin Tone): Rnd 1: 6 single crochet (sc) in a magic ring. Rnd 2: Increase in each stitch around (12 sc). Rnd 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6 = 18 sc. Rnd 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) x 6 = 24 sc. Rnd 5: (3 sc, 1 inc) x 6 = 30 sc. Rnd 6: (4 sc, 1 inc) x 6 = 36 sc. Rnd 7: (5 sc, 1 inc) x 6 = 42 sc. Rnd 8 - 16 (9 rounds): Work even in sc (42 sc). Rnd 17: (5 sc, 1 dec) x 6 = 36 sc. Rnd 18: (4 sc, 1 dec) x 6 = 30 sc. Rnd 19: (3 sc, 1 dec) x 6 = 24 sc (Insert safety eyes between rounds 11 and 12, leaving about 7-8 stitches between them). Stuff firmly. Rnd 20: (2 sc, 1 dec) x 6 = 18 sc. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Hair (Brown): Crochet a base cap similar to the head. To create the curly look, chain long strands (e.g., 15-20 chains) from each stitch, turn back, and fill each chain with double crochets (dc) to form spiral curls, then attach/sew them onto the crown and sides. Body & Uniform (Blue and Skin Tone): Arms and legs are crocheted in skin tone and attached to the body. Dress the doll in a blue doctor’s uniform (scrub top and pants). The outfit can be crocheted directly or measured around the doll using single and double crochets. Embroider or sew a tiny stethoscope around the neck using grey and black thread. Scrub Cap (Blue): Start with 6 sc in a magic ring, increase every round until it reaches the size covering the top of the head (approx. 30-36 sc). Work a few rounds even and fasten off. Sew tiny white felt or crocheted hearts onto it.
3. Giant Tooth Chair Instructions The large tooth figure that serves as a seat for the doll consists of two large roots and a top crown section: Main Body & Roots: Start with white yarn using a wide base magic ring, expanding upward to create a large volume. Shape the top crown portion with strategic increases and create dome-like bumps for the top peaks of the tooth. For the bottom, split the work into two separate roots or crochet two separate cylindrical roots and join them securely to the main body. Stuff tightly with fiberfill to ensure a firm, sturdy structure for the doll to sit on. 4. Mini Tooth Figures and Accessories Small Cute Teeth: Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring. Increase until reaching around 36-40 sc. Crochet a few rows even, then shape the top peaks by decreasing on the sides to form the classic tooth shape. Stuff with fiberfill and close. Embroider a smiling face with black thread, apply pink yarn or blush on the cheeks, and add tiny bows. Toothbrush Holder (Pencil Cup) & Brushes: Holder: Start with blue yarn in a magic ring (6 sc), increase to form a flat base. Work even in sc upwards to create a cup shape. Sew a white heart onto the front. Brushes: Crochet thin stick shapes using white and pink yarn (a thin wire can be inserted inside to keep them straight), and create tiny fringes at the tips for the bristles.
5. Assembly Instructions Doll: Securely sew the head to the body. Attach the arms and legs (positioning the legs so they sit naturally over the tooth chair). Chair & Doll Attachment: Place the doll onto the giant tooth chair and anchor it with hidden stitches so it remains stable. Tray Arrangement: Arrange all components nicely inside a wide, blue-crocheted tray to complete the scenic set.
