Continue crocheting in rounds of sc, increasing in every other stitch until you have 36 sc. Work without increasing until the body reaches the desired length. Stuff the body firmly as you crochet. Start decreasing by crocheting two sc together in every other stitch. Continue decreasing until you have 12 sc. Finish off and weave in the ends. Head: Attach the flesh-tone yarn to the body where the neck should be. Make a magic ring and work 6 sc into the ring. Increase in each stitch around (12 sc). Place a stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round. Continue crocheting in rounds of sc, increasing in every other stitch until 24 sc. Work without increasing until the head reaches the desired size. Stuff the head firmly as you crochet. Start decreasing by crocheting two sc together in every other stitch. Continue decreasing until you have 6 sc. Finish off and weave in the ends.
Legs (make 2):Attach the flesh-tone yarn to the body. Chain 10 sc. Work without increasing until the leg reaches the desired length. Stuff the leg firmly as you crochet. Decrease at the beginning of each round until you have 4 sc. Finish off and weave in the ends. Arms (make 2): Attach the flesh-tone yarn to the body. Chain 8 sc. Work without increasing until the arm reaches the desired length. Stuff the arm lightly as you crochet. Decrease at the beginning of each round until you have 4 sc. Finish off and weave in the ends. Hat: With the green yarn, chain the desired circumference for the base of the hat. Join the chain into a ring with a slip stitch. Crochet in rounds of sc, increasing as needed to maintain a flat circle. Continue crocheting until the hat reaches the desired depth. Decrease at the beginning of each round until you have a small opening at the top. Finish off and weave in the ends. Ears (make 2): With the flesh-tone yarn, chain 4 sc. Face:Sew on the safety eyes to the face. Embroider a small smile with the black yarn. Embroider a small nose with the red yarn (optional). Assembly: Sew the ears to the top of the head.
