Materials Needed Yarn: Skin tone amigurumi yarn (Legs, arms, body, head) Light powder pink amigurumi yarn (Dress, shoes, bag) Light brown / caramel yarn (Hair) Green and pink thin amigurumi yarn (Flowers and leaves for hair) Crochet Hook: 2.0 mm or 2.25 mm amigurumi hook Safety Eyes: 10 mm black safety eyes (or black/brown embroidery thread) Filling & Extras: Fiberfill, electrical wire or craft wire (for neck support) Tools: Tapestry needle, scissors, stitch marker, pink blush for cheeks 1. Legs (Make 2) Start with skin tone yarn. Rnd 1: 6 sc in mr (6) Rnd 2: (1 sc, 1 inc) * 3 (9) Rnds 3-30: 9 sc (28 rounds straight) Fasten off the first leg. Do not cut the yarn on the second leg.
2. Joining the Legs & Body Rnd 31 (Joining): Ch 2 from the second leg, join to the first leg with a sc. 9 sc around the first leg, 2 sc on the chain, 9 sc around the second leg, 2 sc on the other side of the chain = (22) Rnds 32-35: 22 sc (4 rounds) Switch to powder pink yarn (Dress start). Rnd 36: BLO 22 sc (The lower skirt section will be attached here later) Rnds 37-45: 22 sc (9 rounds for corset section) Rnd 46: (2 sc, 1 dec) * 5, 2 sc (17) Rnds 47-50: 17 sc (4 rounds for waistline) Rnd 51: (1 sc, 1 dec) * 5, 2 sc (12) Switch to skin tone yarn (Neck). Rnds 52-54: 12 sc (3 rounds) Insert wire/cable through the neck and stuff firmly with fiberfill. 3. Head Start with skin tone yarn. Rnd 1: 6 sc in mr (6) Rnd 2: 6 inc (12) Rnd 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (18) Rnd 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (24) Rnd 5: (3 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (30) Rnd 6: (4 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (36) Rnd 7: (5 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (42) Rnd 8: (6 sc, 1 inc) * 6 (48) Rnds 9-20: 48 sc (12 rounds straight) Place safety eyes between rounds 14 and 15, leaving about 7-8 stitches between them. 4. Arms (Make 2) With skin tone yarn: Rnd 1: 5 sc in mr (5) Rnds 2-22: 5 sc (21 rounds) Stuff lightly. Sew to both sides of the body at round 50. 5. Bustier & Lace Skirt Details Bustier (Chest Piece): With pink yarn, ch 15. Starting from 2nd ch from hook, sc 14. Work 3 rows of 14 sc. Wrap yarn tightly around the center to create a bow/sweetheart shape and sew onto the chest area. Lace Skirt Setup: Attach pink yarn to the FLO (Front Loop Only) of Round 36 on the body. Rnds 1-5: Work 1 sc in each stitch (22 sc). Front Slit: After 22 sc, turn back (work in turning rows from here on). Lace / Mesh Pattern: In each row, create mesh/v-stitch spaces: (skip 2 sts, 1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc in same st). Increase by adding 1 motif on each edge and in the center on each row so the skirt flares out widely. At the hem, work 5 dc into each mesh space with a picot stitch (ch 3, sl st into base) between them to form the scalloped lace trim.
6. Shoes (Make 2) With pink yarn: Rnd 1: Ch 6. Starting in 2nd ch: 4 sc, 3 sc in last ch, turn to work on other side: 3 sc, 1 inc = (12) Rnd 2: 1 inc, 3 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc, 2 inc = (18) Rnd 3: BLO 18 sc Rnd 4: 18 sc Rnd 5: 4 sc, 5 dec, 4 sc = (13) For the ankle strap, ch 8 and attach to the opposite side of the shoe. 7. Hair Styling (Wavy Updo) With caramel/light brown yarn: Wig Cap Base: 6 sc in mr, increase each round up to 42 sts to cover the top of the head, then fix in place. Hair Curls: Front Framing Curls: Ch 25, turn, work 2 hdc in each chain back down (this creates a tight spiral). Updo Bun Strands: Ch 30-40, work hdc along the chain to make 8-10 long spiral strands. Layer and pin these strands on the back/top of the head into a bun shape, securing with thread. 8. Hair Accessories & Bag Mini Flowers (Make 3): With pink yarn in mr: (ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, sl st) * 5. Pull tight. Embroider a yellow knot in the center. Leaves (Make 2): With green yarn, ch 6, turn and work: (1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc). Sew next to the flowers on the side of the hair. Handbag: With pink yarn: 6 sc in mr, 12 sc, 18 sc, then work 3 rounds straight. Fold top, add a 10-ch handle, and attach a small pink ribbon/bow to the front.
9. Facial Embroidery & Finishing Using black embroidery thread, frame the eyes with eyelashes and thin eyebrows above. Embroider a subtle 1-stitch wide nose using skin tone yarn. Embroider a small pink/red mouth. Apply a small amount of pink blush or powdered pastel to the cheeks.
