Step by step Pattern Body (Red Yarn): Start with a magic ring. 6 sc into the ring (6 sts). Inc in each st around (12 sts). [Sc in the next st, inc in the next st] around (18 sts). [Sc in the next 2 sts, inc in the next st] around (24 sts). Continue increasing in this pattern until you have a wide enough base. Sc in each st around for several rows to create the length of the body. Begin to decrease in the inverse pattern of increasing until you're about to close. Stuff with fiberfill before fully closing. Finish off and weave in ends. Arms (Red Yarn): Magic ring with 6 sc (6 sts). Sc in each st around, adding a few inc to make the arms thicker. Continue with sc around until the arm reaches the desired length. Stuff lightly, if at all, and leave a long tail for attachment. Repeat for the second arm.Legs (Red Yarn): Start the same as the arms, but make the legs longer and slightly thicker. Stuff lightly, if at all, and leave a long tail for attachment. Repeat for the second leg. Eyes (White and Blue Yarn): With white yarn, create a magic ring. 6 sc into the ring (6 sts). Switch to blue yarn, inc in each st around (12 sts). Finish off, leaving a long tail for attachment, and add safety eyes or embroider with black yarn in the center. Repeat for the second eye.
Claw (Red and White Yarn): Start with red yarn and create a magic ring. Follow a pattern similar to the arms, but add an extra section for the claw pincers using increases and decreases. Switch to white yarn for the claw tips. Repeat for the second claw.Assembly: Sew the eyes onto the face. Attach the arms, legs, and claws onto the body using a yarn needle. Embroider a mouth with a smiling expression using black yarn.
